No, far from it. I’ve always been a reader from as far back as I can remember I always had a book in my hand. I loved escaping reality!
Before I start a series, I know which couples will be getting a book and I have a vague idea of what the conflict will be and then work my way around it.

I don’t really have a topic that I will never touch. When I get to sensitive topics my main focus and goal is to treat the topic with the respect that it deserves. My fear is to offend someone who has gone through whatever the case may be and think that I’m trying to pass it off as nothing.
I really stick to my series. If it’s a sports romance it’ll be just a guy. For my small-town romance, I usually stick to couples.

When USA Today Best Selling Author’s nose isn’t buried in a book, or her fingers flying across a keyboard writing, she’s in the kitchen creating gourmet meals. You can find her, in four inch heels no less, in the car chauffeuring kids, or possibly with her husband scheduling his business trips. It’s a good thing her characters do what she says, because even her Labrador doesn’t listen to her.
