No! Actually I sort of fell into this job unexpectedly, and no one is more surprised than me! 🙂
So far, the only books I’ve written with follow-up characters are Where the Blame Lies/Where the Truth Lives, and Archer’s Voice/Travis, and no, I didn’t plan either of them. I just ended up feeling like part of the story was untold and decided to dive in!
I’ve started a few books that didn’t really grab me. I have 2 or 3 that have about 20K words written. Maybe I’ll go back to them one day, maybe not!
I can’t think of anything, and I try to never say never because I don’t want to stifle my creativity and any potential plots that might come to me. 😀
By the genre. I like to make sure the “type” of book it is, is immediately clear to readers.
From anywhere and everywhere! I’ve gotten ideas from songs, stories I’ve heard, or just from a setting or a type of character that pops into my head and I start ruminating on.
Hmm… that’s hard, but Calder and Eden have a special place in my heart.
Two months to write, and one month to edit, so three months total.
Romance! Always! But suspense is a close second.
I’ve always loved Stephen King. He’s an all-time favorite. Of course I love Nora Roberts and Danielle Steele and all the romance greats. 🙂
Becoming Calder/Finding Eden, or Where the Blame Lies/Where the Truth Lives.
