Hound Dog: Love At First Bark – Mae Harden

Synopsis

Aria

Dogs are better than people. You can fight me on this, but I’ll win. Dogs don’t judge my trailer park upbringing or my threadbare tees. No, dogs love unconditionally and, after the life I’ve had, that’s all I really want.

Men have never been a temptation for me, not after watching my mother blow through one awful relationship after another. Not until I met Carson Jones: singer, songwriter, Hollywood heartthrob. He’s a triple threat, quadruple if you count the six-pack… which I do. When he offers me an insane amount of money to train his dog, I can’t say no. Even if that means spending my days pretending he doesn’t melt my panties, and my nights wishing for more.

Carson

  1. Need. Help.

Bubbles, the dog I inherited from my sister, is insane. She spins in circles, chasing her tail until she pukes. She won’t stay out of my pool and, if I don’t walk her three times a day, she eats the drywall right off the wall. Too bad Bubbles hates every single trainer I’ve hired, and three dog walkers quit in the last month alone.

But this new dog walker, Aria, seems to have the magic touch with Bubbles. Desperate, I make her a ridiculous offer. One million dollars for one month of live-in dog training. That seemed simple enough, but I didn’t count on falling for her. Aria is convinced this can’t end in happily ever after… but lucky for us, happy endings are my specialty and I’m about to show her how right this could be.

My review

That was a sweet read!

Carson is the rockstar \ actor celebrity who needs someone to help him with his very energetic dog and Aria is a dog walker \ dog trainer.

Aria is not just a simple woman compared to Carson’s fame, she has her past (which I’m not gonna say anything about ).

Carson, I was prepared for someone with a chip on his shoulder or a player type of famous but Carson was something else!

He was so sweet and nice and even when he had a right to get suspicious, he wasn’t! I liked that about him! I liked his attitude and care for everything and everyone. He was definitely special.

Aria was the strong character we all love to love. She knows how to take care of herself and how to get by even when she didn’t have anything to her name. She was loyal and kind and I liked that underneath she wasn’t all that “naive”

Aria and Carter together? Yeah, that was FIRE!
