Eyes on Me – Sara Cate

Reviews by Yael Waknin

Synopsis

I’m a voyeur—it means I like to watch.

And in my line of work, that’s a gift.

As one of the four owners of the Salacious Players’ Club, I’m comfortable on the sidelines. This is what I was made to do, and I work better alone.

Until the day I stumble on a certain cam girl app and find myself watching the one person I should never have watched—my step-sister.

There are three big problems with this.

One, Mia and I can’t stand each other.

Two, she has no idea I’m the man on the other end of the video.

And three…I’m hooked—on the app and on her.

Now, Mia has me wanting and doing things I said I’d never do again, like opening upand getting attached. I’m falling for her, but she’s falling for the mystery man I’m pretending to be.

If I’m going to make this right, then I have to do more than just watch.

But how far will I go to keep her eyes on me?

My review

The stepbrother \ stepsister trope can be tricky, and I’ve encountered some books that made it sound and look NOT good, so I was very intrigued about this book.

Oh My God! What a great freaking book!

No wonder it was ALL OVER TikTok!

This book was super spicy with extra spice on top!

Garrett! Usually, I wouldn’t say I like that complicated H with a dark-ish past, but Garrett won my heart. He ultimately won my heart! And it’s funny because I was a little skeptical about him in the first book (where we know him as Emerson’s friend).

In the book, he was a different person! He was so human, complicated, intense, sweet, cute, HOT, and HOT!!

I think both Garrett and Mia went through a rollercoaster of emotions with pain, hurt, sadness, desire, and love.

Mia wasn’t the typical slim waist girl, and I loved it, mainly because she had confidence, strength, and a big heart.

I think Sara Cate gave those characters the best love I’ve read lately.

I felt their hot chemistry, and I swear it was and is one of the hottest, spiciest books I’ve read!

This was another book that was entirely out of my comfort zone; even though I love taboo and age gap books, this book was just a little dark but also a little light, and the combination was a little perfect!

This book gave me all the feels! I know I’m going to reread this book.

Garrett and Mia are in my heart and in my head, and I don’t think I’ll stop thinking about them soon.

Read this book with a glass of cold water and air conditioning! Trust me on this.
