How did I get here? My assistant, bent on one knee, holding my hand, her expectant face waiting for an answer.

Just . . . how?

How did I go from being insulted by Charlee Cox to hiring her to be my assistant? How is it that sheโ€™s chaos in color โ€“ making me crazy and my life better at the same time?

I never thought I would be staring down at her bright blue eyes begging me to go along with this ridiculous scheme I suggested.

Yes, I suggested. Like the idiot I am, I thought hey, why not start an HR nightmare and have my assistant ask me to marry her?

Confused? Donโ€™t worry, so am I.

But try to follow along, because this is how I became Boss Man Bridegroom

My review

This review will be different because I must applaud the audiobook and the narrators.

I need to point out how good the narrators were in this book and what they did with the characters and the story!

This book is good, funny, has great characters (go Charlie’s grandma!), and full-on smut even before the actual sex scene!

And yet, I swear the audiobook is way hotter and funnier than just reading the book.

There were scenes I really felt the heat Rath, and Charlie had!

Connor and Kelsey’s narration was like seeing the sparks flying between the characters!

The dialogues were great, and no matter who’s POV it was – I laugh!

I think all the nuances Connor’s voice had in Rath’s inner monologue were perfect!

Kelsey’s narration was as good and accurate as Charlie’s!

The story was so great! Not a regular fake marriage trope.

Charlie was the greatest sunshine character to Rath’s grumpy one!

I think this book doesn’t get the attention it deserves!

I haven’t read the first book, I did read the second (which was also good), but this one is something else.

I mean, I’m still laughing while thinking about it! And boy, oh boy, some scenes were hot AF! \

Yeah – it was that good!
