Puck Shy – Teagan Hunter

Reviews by Yael Waknin

Synopsis

I’m having the definition of a bad year.

Game Six loss costing my team the Cup? Check.

Getting arrested and ruining my image? Check.

Almost getting run over after my car breaks down? Oh, look—a hat trick.

My contract is up with the Carolina Comets this year, and I need to get it together if I want to stay with the team.

I need relaxation, not a relationship.

But when I’m scrolling on a dating app and stumble across the pretty girl who almost ran me over, I know I can’t let her walk away this time.

Harper is funny, smart, and doesn’t care about hockey.

I’m not supposed to be focusing on anything other than my career, yet I can’t get Harper off my mind.

I know I shouldn’t fall for her…but I think I already have.

PUCK SHY is a standalone hockey romantic comedy. It’s good, low angst fun with some hot hockey players.

My review

This book was exactly what I needed!

I wanted a funny, light-hearted, smutty book with just a little angst, and this book was exactly that and better.

Collin… What can I say about this beautiful man?

I mean, I am reading many sports romances and I really like them all, but Collin was something else. I really can’t put my finger on it, but somehow he made the “He is a hockey player, and he likes a regular girl” thing so enticing. More thrilling. More everything! I mean, Harper is some lucky girl.

Harper was amazing. I thought she’d be another nice character but she had a unique edge.

Collin and Harper together? Now that was just HOT!

The smut was smutty, and the hot was boiling!

And I got to meet Delia and Zach again! Those were my favorite couple from that series

But! I really gotta say it… I WANT TO KNOW MORE ABOUT RHODES!

I like those types of silent, brooding men.

God, I hope he’ll be in the next book with Ryan!
